Contracted as a strategy + creative consultant to advise + lead Bonobos management and their internal teams through the brand campaign creation process during a transitional organizational period that helped grow their identity from an apparel company to a destination lifestyle brand.

Scope of work included consulting on the brand identity, strategy, and process with management and the internal marketing, brand and PR teams; directing seasonal brand campaigns to broadcast the identity; capturing lifestyle and brand focused photography; paginating and designing D2C consumer catalogs; designing digital + print advertising; and strategically mapping out the short term direction for the brand based on the long term vision of the executive team.

The campaigns were created with omni-channel intent and activated across digital + print via all broadcast channels including e-commerce, emails, retail, public relations, and D2C printed catalogs.

To push the brand away from a transactional consumer goods identity more towards becoming a global lifestyle brand a strong focus was placed on authentically immersing Bonobos in brand-right experiences. A balance of art and commerce was achieved as we took the campaign on-location in New Orleans.

Product focused print ads for Bonobo’s partner brands AYR and Maide were strategically paired with the developing brand identity package to engage consumers further.

Showcasing an omni-channel consumer experience with multiple engagements points across digital, retail and in-home was important to evolve the brand’s lifestyle identity and resonate with a larger audience across all touchpoints.
